Understanding the Stages of Tuberculosis

  1. Initial Infection (Primary TB): Tuberculosis begins when the bacteria Mycobacterium tuberculosis enters the lungs, causing a localized infection. In some cases, the immune system successfully controls it.
  2. Latent TB Infection: The bacteria remain in the body in an inactive state, without showing symptoms. Around 90% of people with latent TB never develop the active disease.
  3. Reactivation (Secondary TB): If the immune system weakens, latent TB can reactivate, leading to active symptoms like cough, fever, and night sweats. Ayushakti offers natural support to strengthen immunity and reduce the risk of reactivation.
  4. Active TB Disease: In this stage, the bacteria multiply, leading to serious symptoms such as chest pain, coughing up blood, and weight loss.
  5. Pulmonary TB: The most common form, where the infection affects the lungs, causing respiratory issues. Ayurvedic treatments at Ayushakti focus on boosting respiratory health.
  6. Extrapulmonary TB: When TB spreads beyond the lungs, it can affect organs like the kidneys, spine, or brain, requiring comprehensive care and monitoring.
  7. Drug-Resistant TB: This occurs when TB bacteria become resistant to standard treatments, complicating recovery.

This misalignment leads to the formation of a bunion on the metatarsophalangeal (MTP) joint as your body adjusts to the shifted position of your toe. Common causes of increased pressure on the big toe joint include: Wearing narrow or pointed shoes that squeeze the toes. Abnormal foot mechanics or walking patterns. Health conditions causing inflammation, such as rheumatoid  arthritis  or lupus. Standing for extended periods or working on your feet. Unsightly and uncomfortable foot issues like athlete's foot and bunions can be a real nuisance. A bunion is a bony growth that occurs at the base of the bi...
